A relay module switches circuits inside the hazardous area. It can be used to sense external on/ off conditions and to control a variety of external devices. Typical circuits include:
•  Remote counter resets
•  Remote strain gauge calibration
•  Fire alarm test
•  Multiplexing sensor values
•  Switching EX m-, Ex d-solenoids
